
The owner-operator of Harkness Day Spa & Rejuvenation Center, Linda Harkness is a wife, mother, healer and teacher. Her passion is empowering people and helping them learn, grow and thrive. She worked in the fields of mental health and developmental disabilities, and earned a Master's Degree in Psychology from Georgia Southern University (1985). Her desire to help people on a deeper level led her into the field of massage therapy, and she graduated from the Brian Utting School in 1990.
Linda is known for her dedication to quality service. She enjoys learning new approaches to massage, energy medicine and alternative health. She has studied extensively with Rinpoche Rigzden Chodon Madi Nolan (Tibetan Mastery Techniques) and Rev. Anaiis Salles (Heart Centered Energy Healing). She's also studied with other respected teachers such as Ben Benjamin (Cross Fiber Friction), Michael Young (Repetitive Use Injury Technique), David Palmer (Chair Massage) and others.
